"Queimadas em Movimento" brings together around 150 cyclists for a special local event
The "Queimadas em Movimento" project, organized by the Department of Culture (Secult), kicked off on August 23rd with a special morning dedicated to the municipality's cyclists. The event also coincided with celebrations for Cyclist's Day, officially observed on August 19th.
Held through a partnership between the public sector and the private sector, the event brought together approximately 150 cyclists, fostering a connection between sports, health, leisure, and the community.
The program was specially designed to recognize cyclists who are a constant presence on the streets, roads, and trails of Queimadas throughout the year. In addition to socializing, participants had access to various free services aimed at promoting health and quality of life, such as massages, blood glucose testing, body fat assessments, and other health services.
The initiative reinforces the municipality's commitment to encouraging sports and healthy habits, as well as promoting cycling as an activity that fosters leisure, social interaction, health, and well-being.
More than just a sporting event, "Queimadas em Movimento" aims to bring together the public sector, businesses, cyclists, and the community, creating new opportunities for integration and highlighting the activities taking place in the municipality.
