The Municipality of Queimadas has released the official schedule for the 5th Expo Rural, to be held from August 14 to 16 at the Event Grounds. The event reinforces the municipality's status as a key player in strengthening the livestock and family farming sectors and celebrating Northeastern culture.

The program kicks off on Thursday (13) with the arrival and admission of animals, marking the start of the exhibition's technical activities. Starting Friday (14), the public can enjoy a diverse agenda featuring dairy competitions, livestock judging, lectures, exhibitions, contests, demonstrations, cultural performances, and musical shows.

Throughout the three-day event, Expo Rural will host official goat and cattle milking sessions, livestock judging, and exhibitions of Caatinga reptiles and ornamental birds. It will also feature lectures aimed at strengthening rural production, covering topics such as pre-calving care for dairy animals, fertilization and pest control in corn farming, and the role of women in agriculture.

Another highlight of the program is the 5th Regional Cheese and Dairy Products Contest, which recognizes regional production, alongside the traditional making of fresh *queijo de manteiga* (butter cheese)—one of the attractions most eagerly awaited by the public.
