Philus-Haus Cultural Center: a gem of Queimadas' cultural scene, dedicated to historical and educational tourism. The Philus-Haus Cultural Center harmonizes the aspects of nature with historical artifacts that marked the development of Fazenda Riacho do Meio (one of the municipality’s earliest farms) during the cotton and cattle cycles of the 20th century.

Located in the Riacho do Meio site, in the rural area of Queimadas city, the cultural center is composed of the Memorial House and the Main House — both built with architecture typical of the old farms of the Northeast and furnished with period furniture — as well as the Chapel of São Francisco, built in Renaissance style with classical decoration and stained glass windows.
