Tataguassu Collective Luthiery: a place that celebrates the union between classical art and the implementation of a new productive arrangement for the municipality. This is the central objective of Tataguassu Collective Luthiery, a pioneering project in Paraíba, maintained through a partnership between the Queimadas City Hall and Atelier Prof. Jeróme Dariell.
At the Luthiery, tourists can follow the entire manual production process of various classical musical instruments, such as the violin and classical viola. This work, developed on Queimadas soil, has been gaining international recognition, participating in fairs and exhibitions.
This recognition led, in 2022, to the exhibition of their works at the Exposition Archets D’alto, held in the city of Paris.
In the tourism segment, the Luthiery is one of the main attractions of the region and is included in itineraries marketed by travel agencies such as CVC and Azul Viagens, through the Paraíbe-se project, which aims to connect, promote, and democratize access to tourist attractions from the coast to the hinterland of Paraíba, dispelling the idea that the state of Paraíba is only sun and sea.ts.
