The Pedra do Touro Archaeological Complex is one of the most famous natural attractions in Queimadas. It is located along the BR-104 highway, at one of the highest points of the Serra de Bodopitá.
At the top, visitors can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of both the rural and urban areas of the city, as well as see Campina Grande on the horizon — and admire a beautiful sunset.
In addition to adventure and leisure tourism, the Pedra do Touro Complex is also a suitable place for the development of scientific tourism, due to its rich biodiversity, making it an ideal environment for academic research. This site is named after the presence of a large rock measuring eight meters in length and three meters in width, featuring various rock paintings, which for a long time were believed to depict a bull, due to its appearance (a protrusion on the back and apparent horns).
